I am more interested in getting published than being paid so monetary things, nice as they are, are not my first consideration in writing. However, it is nice that you have given an added incentive that will not put me into a higher tax bracket! Be that as it may, most of my writings that ever got published have been non-fiction and low paying. Have to dash but hope more will join this endeavor.
That’s such a positive attitude to less-that-stellar payment. Thanks for the grin.
Will send hardcopy to your office when it is ready.Thank you for your kind consideration in these matters. Keep up the good work. Yours in martial arts, Halford E. Jones
Man, what an exciting project! I found out about it a little late, so it’s a bit of a scramble but this NH born and bred boy and HWA member is going to try to pull something off, so eager he be. Good on you for making this happen!
Shawn, I’ll keep reading manuscripts until I know I’ve got the best stories I can find, so don’t worry if yours arrives a little later than the deadline. My goal is to have my choices made by the end of April.

I’m looking more for publication, too. I don’t care about the money. I want to be a novelist, so I’m looking for exposure. I’m really hoping for this chance.
This is really cool! I have been looking for an opportunity to get one of my stories published. I have always wanted to be a novelist. Receiving a book with one of my stories, along with other writers stories in it would mean more to me then the money.
I was very disapointed that I didn’t have the chance to put my story in. I got wind of the contest about 10 days before the deadline, and was only halfway done my story. And I thougth it was pretty good too! š¦ Maybe next time! Good luck to you all!

Hello,
Will ‘Live Free or Undead’ be running again in 2011?
If so, any deadline yet? Or same as last year?
Derek, Check out http://nhpulpfiction.com and behold the 2011 installment: Live Free or Die, Die, Die! Deadlines are pretty much the same.
Great idea !
Keep me on your list for your announcement of same next year.
Also, are other genres out there or in the works ?
Best,
B.
Will do, Brett. I presume you know about Live Free or Die, Die, Die! the second volume of NH Pulp Fiction. Next year we’ll be working the Science Fiction vein with volume three. Not sure of the title for that one. Maybe just “LIve Free or Sci Fi”?
